The Universality of Cheese

That's what I blame. The thing about blogs is that they are so current. I had a very witty blog in my head on Wednesday, but I just didn't get time to write it before events superseded it, most notably SNOW!!!

As I ran on Wednesday I'd composed a lovely couple of paragraphs. Ramblings about my social links with Glasgow Glitterati segued into a lovely line about weather from the East: as I glided around Holyrood Park on Wednesday morning the sky was an apocalyptic auburn, and the wind was from Russia. Snow was coming. (For Tania: 40 minutes, like a hot knife through hokey pokey. It was goooooood)

But I got too busy to write and today the promised weather actually GOT HERE!!!! And I was prevented from telling you all by a minor storm in a teacup about a virulent, nasty political attack blog. Stories about computer screens and politicians do not make good telly. Blogspot hosts a lot of pish, but this blog that wasn't even about CHEESE made the air. I refuse to link to it, especially when there's SNOW pictures for you to look at! However, at the risk of them being redundant, that's tomorrow's job. It's past 1am and I have one last day left. Yes, one snowy day left in the capital, one long run on sunday, and then this blog is no more. Which is a good thing, it takes more discipline to write than it does to pull my shoes on in the morning.
